Candy' s Notes

Twelve car club mates had a great time @ the noggin' & natter @ LaStrada of Lake Lure...delicious food, good service, and a personal greeting from hostess Marcia Mazur.  She and her husband Stan own LaStrada and are in a stamp club with me.  After the delicious meal, we went over to the parking lot across from the beach to kick tires, talk travel, and watch the traffic go by.  We got a close look @ the Dusky's 198? t-top Jaguar.  What a beauty and an unusual car! As usual, a good time was had by all...

At the suggestion of Gloria Griffin, we will be planning a moonlight motoring ride for the middle of July, with details to be worked out @ the July meeting...

At the suggestion of Marilyn McNamara, we will plan an excursion to the Flatrock Playhouse to see "All Shook Up", a play featuring music of The King, Elvis Pressley.  We will also discuss this @ the next meeting.
